Tax office opening hours June, July and August (5/20/2013)
We change our opening hours for the summer. Before you visit a tax office we recommend that you check its opening hours at the Local Tax Offices page of www.tax.fi (this site).
Majority get their tax card online – have a try yourself (1/11/2013)
In early January, almost 60 per cent of all tax card customers revised their tax card in our Tax Card Online service. You too can avoid rush hours by visiting the online service.
Payments of Public Broadcasting Tax (1/4/2013)
The new Public broadcasting tax is not invoiced separately. Instead, it is automatically included in taxpayers' withholding calculations.

VAT on electronically supplied services as of 1 January 2015 (5/22/2013)
A special scheme known as the 'Electronic services scheme' is provided for VAT-liable businesses in the EU and outside the EU and will come into force 1 January 2015. For this purpose, EU and non-EU businesses will use a Web portal in the Member State in which they are identified to declare the VAT due in the Member State of their customer.
Revised instructions issued for completing the Transfer Pricing Documentation form (4/10/2013)
The new version of the instructions is designed to make it easier for the filers to compare their own circumstances against the set criteria in order to see whether the documentation requirement concerns them.
Annual information returns 2012 (1/10/2013)
Employers and others who make payments to individual taxpayers must hand in a report on the outbound payments made during the 2012 calendar year.
